Whether you call it charcuterie, a farmer’s plate, or hors d'oeuvres (easier to say than spell), let your appetizers take center stage at your next gathering. This cherry wood board adds just the touch of rustic class you’re looking for. Display your cured meats, assorted cheeses, fruits, nuts, crackers, and jelly in a traditional charcuterie spread, or make the board your own with family favorites.
Cherry wood is known for its strength and durability. Although it’s also called “New England mahogany,” our cherry wood comes from Northern Michigan – home of the cherry capital of the world. The heartwood’s reddish-gold hue is one of the defining characteristics of cherry wood. It has a satiny feel and is rarer than maple or oak. This charcuterie board is 17"L x 11"W x 1/2"H and includes purple resin.
Product care: Hand wash with a sponge and soapy water on both sides to prevent warping. Rinse and dry with a clean dish towel or paper towel. Allow the board to dry vertically before putting it away. Use food-safe mineral oil to regularly condition the board. To make the resin’s color pop, rub it with oil before your next party.
Please note that these are charcuterie boards and not cutting boards – cutting on the resin is not recommended because it will dull your knives and can scratch the artwork.
All of the wood that we use in our shop comes from trees that have been selectively harvested. Each piece of wood we select is recovered from the forest using sustainable harvesting techniques that will ensure the protection and longevity of the rest of the trees, preserving the beauty of nature for future generations. Our team of experienced woodworkers is devoted to outstanding craftmanship and unbeatable attention to detail.
Each charcuterie board is unique. You will receive the board photographed in this listing. For other options, please visit the charcuterie board selection in our shop.
