Iron wood is the firewood so tough it stalls hydraulic wood splitters. It’s both the hardest and the heaviest wood around. Commonly used for homemade tool handles, mallets, fence posts levers, and fuel so combustible it leaves little ash, iron wood is quite simply the toughest wood you can find. This charcuterie board is 16 1/4"L x 10 3/4"W x 1/2"H with white resin.
Product care: Hand wash with a sponge and soapy water on both sides to prevent warping. Rinse and dry with a clean dish towel or paper towel. Allow the board to dry vertically before putting it away. Use food-safe mineral oil to regularly condition the board. To make the resin’s color pop, rub it with oil before your next party.
Please note that these are charcuterie boards and not cutting boards – cutting on the resin is not recommended because it will dull your knives and can scratch the artwork.
